MusclePharm Assault side effects that you should expect
There are two common MusclePharm Assault side effects that you should expect during your first few servings: a prickly feeling on the skin and the “runs”.
MusclePharm Assault contains a whopping 4 grams of beta alanine in every scoop. And if studies show that beta alanine can cause the ‘tingles’ at over 800mg, imagine the itchy or prickly feeling you will experience with one serving of Assault. Some users though do not consider the ‘tingles’ as a side effect but a positive sign that the formula is actually working in their bodies.
Several users have also reported noticeable disruptions to their gastrointestinal systems, particularly upset stomach and frequent runs to the bathroom. Sometimes creatine can cause this side effect, or maybe your body reacts differently to some of the ingredients in Assault.
There are other reported MusclePharm Assault side effects such as headaches, dizziness, trouble sleeping and nausea but these are quite rare.
Minimizing MusclePharm Assault side effects
If you experience headaches, it is most likely caused by dehydration, so make sure that you drink at least a gallon of water daily.
Some people recommend eating before taking Assault to prevent an upset stomach.
If you feel any adverse side effects such as jitters and nervousness, it is most probably caused by taking in dosages that are too much for you. Always start with a low dosage and assess your tolerance before moving up.
The recommended starter dosage is half a scoop mixed with 8-12 ounces of water. Consume a serving of Assault 20 to 30 minutes before your workout and drink plenty of water throughout the day.
After using Assault for 1 to 2 months, get off it for about 2 to 4 weeks so you can assess your progress and give your body enough time to recover as well.
Stacking MusclePharm Assault side effects
You can safely stack MusclePharm Assault with protein shakes, multivitamins and even extra creatine. What you should NOT do is take Assault with other pre-workout supplements that are laced with stimulants.
You should also consider limiting your coffee or tea intake while you are on Assault to avoid caffeine-related MusclePharm Assault side effects.
